Oh Welcom Back

After a MIA-ing for almost 4 months, I’m back. Got to apologies first and foremost to the blog for I have not contributed any ink to you for such a long time as I found out that research has more than meets the eye.

First of all, I’m really thankful that I am alive (Shut up you who’s rolling your eyes thinking research is a walk in the park). It certainly is the longest half year I have ever experience, and I have loads of rough years previously. Especially the one with the bedroom, the cyber cafe, and the incident at Maisons.

Second of all, thanks to you, who commented and pestered and urged and nagged me to update, this blog has been resurrected from a coma and is now temporarily operational until I find something else to burn my boredom. I know i really should update more frequently, but returning everyday from work is just tiring and all i wanted to do is just die on the bed. This effect was further enhanced when Chloe, a junior of mine, who actually knows the existence of this newbie’s blog. I was all like, Wow, someone actually reads my pieces of shit!

Third, I know I’m using research as the ultimate excuse for pretty much everything that has happened, but the fact of the matter is, it is because of research that so many things are happening. I’ve lost weight, I’ve lost precious party-ing time, I’ve lost fun friends time, lost some love here and there, lost the taste of alcohol (revived just last week), and of course, lost so many lives of rats. Probably near 100 already. I’m predicting that soon, SD Rat Jesus will descend from the heavens, unite all SD Rats are united under one unit, and stage a revolution against the humans.

However today, is a special day. It is a day where I finally feel stress free. Though I still have a bunch of rats to kill, and my Type I diabetic rats’ cages still needs daily first class room service from yours truly, i feel strangely… detached from all the hum drum of research. Maybe it’s because I’m starting a new group of rats, which are being fed with 30% sucrose solution in their water, or maybe it’s the fact that I just watched one of the most awesome guy movies created, or because Sienna Miller was all I could think about throughout the whole movie, or was it the fact that exams are coming and I’m finally returning to my normal life? It could also be the drinking party, where I drank quite a number of Red Bull Vodka shots and 4 cans of beer without puking and doing the Nar Pee Yer, but it could also be the  meals with my family, talking about random things such as the weather, financial law, and the ever so controversial happenings in the country.

So blog, you haven’t missed anything in my life.
