Si Ham

Went for another Sepang Seafood Adventure!!

This time with Wen Chung, Doreen, Yew Wen, and Chen Yi!

We ordered a plate of nasi lemak each, a burnt sting ray each, 1 KG of fried squid, a coconut for drinks each, and…. Wait for it….. 1.5 KG of Si Ham!!!

Fualao!!! The Si Ham will forever be in my top 5 foods on earth la!!

Ended up eating a Mount Kinabalu of Si Ham! The best thing was, that whole pile of Si Ham was only priced at RM9!!!!!! Dumbfounded i was at the price!

Dumbfounded again was i when i saw the price of the Sotong! 20RMs for that 1KG! Ganas la Sotong these days!!

I didin’t take many photos le… Ok… i did le!! But all came out either overexposed or underexposed! Was too dark under the cloud infested skies! Twas a good trip, with good company! Making the drive there totally worth it!!

Lets go again!!

Mega Mac

This is an advertisment for McDonalds!

I didin’t have anything to eat this afternoon. So i decided to give a call to the big M for lunch.

And i ordered

a Mega Mac!

4 pieces of beef patties, with 4 pieces of bread, with special sauce, cheese, pickles, onions, and lettuce!

Wa, my mouth cannot accomodate the thing lo. It tastes like… well… the Ol Big Mac, but it was more filling!!

Later on in the day, me and William went to Bukit Kiara Golf Club to celebrate Pei Wen’s birthday!! It was held by the pool side where we had free dinner (tee-hee!!), free use of lavatories (i went 5 times!!), free wine, and free chocolate cake!! All this thanks to Pei Wen for inviting us to her party!! Thanks so much le!!

Me and Willie got to know a few of Sharon’s secondary school friends! And i think that was the 2nd most valuable thing of the day, coming shy of Pei Wen’s happy face when we “yum seng” with her! Alas, didin’t get any of the leng lui’s phone numbers (damn…).

All in all, the day was completed when i finished my AIR topic!! WOOT!!

P/S: I need to stand up straighter, need to cut my hair, need to change my glasses… eff….

Ewe-eeee

I’ve got this weird knack for taking disgusting pictures! Somehow i really want to take the original, sweet, nice, candy look of something at first, but always end up taking them when they turn really bad.

Taken in canteen after Sandy finished her fish

Yen Bee’s “kanasai” looi Cha

Ikan Pari and Sotong Bakar before it was ravaged by me and Wen Chung.

And, after we were done with it.

Okok…enough of these already~~ Sorry that i find my manual focusing camera phone to be so much fun!!bwahahahah!!

Saturday

Went to Secret Recipe to celebrate Sandy’s 20th~ Ramzi, Yen Bee, Fei Bing, Yee Xuan, AiLing, Fang Han, Licin, Zhen Yuen, and Sook Fen were there to make her day! But before that, we went and watched Narnia! A story about faith! I must say, the story line was interesting. But putting Prince Caspian in all your posters, trailers, and even the title of the movie, makes me think that Caspian is indeed the main character. However, the 4 little kids were still to be once again the centre of the movie, revolving around Aslan and the kingdom with magical creatures and talking rats! Not a disappointment, but surely confusing to me. All in all, it was a freezing (froze my balls off in the cinema), funny, entertaining movie!

See this pool of vomitus? It is the special “cake” that Yen Bee suggested! We placed 2 candles on top of the ice cream, and sang The Song to her! A very different and great approach! Glad i didin’t dissuaded Yen Bee! Though it looked like vomitus, it sure didin’t taste like it! The green tea flavoured ice cream was sweet, and at the end, a pinch of dryness in the mouth! Making drinking (it melted so fast…) the cream like drinking the tea itself! I didin’t know what the other flavor was, but it had nuts, a vanilla-ish flavour and a little twist of coffee! I’m not sure, but i hope my taste buds aren’t malfunctioning!

At the end of it all (pic: Sandy’s left over Irish Lamb Stew!keke), I think we had a great time! I hope you’ll have a great year ahead too Sandy!!

My day didin’t end there.

I went to Yuen steamboat with Margaret and her collegues Wayne, Jayde, Dora, Maggie, Ah Loy, and Yen! Haha!! Sorry but i do not know you guys’ full name!! Yuen was yet again, full to the brim with people lining up as early as 6.30pm. Since we made reservations, and Wayne, Jayde and co were already seated, we walked straight in to find our table, to the stares of “wtf” of the queue. I love tom yum, and the tom yum there was tasty! I guess i don’t need to recommend Yuen’s to you guys as most of you guys already know about it’s popularity! However, one think i hate about Malaysian’s, was witnessed at Yuen’s. In Yuen’s, there’s this pseudo-delicious-grabbed-within-2-seconds bbq chicken wings. Why is it gone within 2 seconds? Because, once the mak cik placed the tray of chicken wings on the table, the crowd that were prematurely waiting with hungry, greedy stares, would jump into this table, scavenging, literally, to get every piece of chicken wing there. These people, consist mostly of aunties, obasans, and think faced guys, would then fill with pride when they exit the table with a full mountain of chicken wings. While the fella who did not get any, would just smile and shruged his way back to his own table. Malaysians, please, we are not people who have not eaten for 2500 years and have so lucky to stumble upon the invention of the bbq chicken wing. Do be courteous and do not put the whole tray onto your plate. Be considerate for once and think about other people’s feelings. Haih… disappontednya…

My day still did not end.

Margaret, Maggie and I went on to the Starbucks in Sunway Pyramid’s new wing to have a cuppa. There we met Margaret’s friend Chee Kong and his girlfriends Freda. Chee Kong went to Sam Tet high school in Ipoh, which is the same with your’s truly! And according to the girls, we clicked instantly. I couldn’t help but notice that it has been a long time since i chatted the way i did that night. What kind of rubbish that i put on the table, was added on by Chee Kong and vice-versa. That kind of conversation did not occur to me in IMU. I’m not saying that IMU-ians aren’t fun, but they do have a certain style when chatting with me. Mind you it is a good style as well! But when i chatted with Chee Kong, it was more nostalgic and fresh. Gone were the days of my high school, and i wish i could turn back time to relive the time spent in my beloved high school.

Under exposed-nya this last 2 pictures…Wish i had a dSLR! (hor?michelle!!!)

After Starbucks, we apparently didin’t talk enough! So we switched to Ming Tien, which was just beside the Pyramid. There we saw drunkards, being supported by their undrunk friend, to be seated and away from the noise that is Bar Celona. Man I’ve gotta go there one day. This scene reminded me of my time in Maisons, where i was wasted beyond classification of wasted. It’s just such burden placed on the undrunk friend, and for that, i would really like to thank you Hsien Zhang, for helping me through that night. So, we ate, drank, talked more cock, and grew tired, where we bid farewell to each other at 2 in the morning.

Then, and only then, i climbed into bed, and lay dead for 9 hours! What a Saturday!

Time

Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it. You can make more money, but you can’t make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is you time.

-Chapter16, The Purpose Driven Life

I am happy today. For i have found out the reason of my downfall.

Special

This post is dedicated to a VERY VERY VERY special person.

I’ve known you for 17 years already, and i am really sorry to say that i have tortured you mentally all these years. Actually i know i’m torturing you, but it’s just that i wanted you to be a better person. You are a remarkable girl and for that you can achieve the stars just by yourself! Without the help of others. And that’s why i tried to correct you, tried to make you…well… me… And i’m sorry that i hurt you so much all these years.

I have no idea i had tat much impact on your life. Well, maybe i do. But it’s just recently that i noticed, how much i mean to you in your everyday life.

Your thoughts on suicide, please shunt them away. It isn’t worth giving up everything just because of a few negative events that gave you tide after tide of saddnes. It isn’t worth it my dear.
I’ll be a person this time for sure. I promise!

I’ll cook soup for you anytime dear!!
