Anyway, I have finished season 1 of friends, and i gotta say, the critics weren’t wrong when they said this was one of the best sitcoms ever made. I envy the six-some for somehow knowing what each and every one of them are thinking. It’s like all of them are one, as if you buy 1 and get 5 free. And this is the situation in which i think every friendship should aim to be. I envy the relationships they have with their girl/boy friends, and laugh it off whether it be good or bad. I mean i know it is the wrong thing to do to have such open relationships here and there, but the way friends puts it, it seems all so fun, carefree… And isn’t this what we are here for? To enjoy the roses and horses along the way? I can’t help to think that, I’m not getting all that now because I’m still an undergraduate. The first step towards that whole scenario, when I’m working and so and so. But why can’t i have it now? I’m sure it’s possible… with patience…and courage… and some sugar and spice! Basically, I’m hopeful, and i hope that my hope does not become hopeless.
(OK, that last paragraph is such a raw mix of what my thoughts were… How disorientated i am… haih..)
Besides that, i kinda think I’ve been through a “Ross phase”… the whole thing about how his personality is, and how he and Rachel seem so hard to get together… Yeah… brings back memories… But now, my present self… i feel myself like chandler bing… haha!!i love his name… OK that’s because he has a my name for a surname which is so cool! But besides that, i think he’s so sarcastic, so desperate for love, so passionate about wanting to find some job that he enjoys doing, which i think personally, is like my current phase… I’d like to be joey though, he’s funny enough to make anyone laugh and that’s a crucial asset i really really want to have.
( that was my 20 cents on what i think is the best friends character that suits me. But i am open to all comments, good or bad (*narrows eyes to Michelle Lim…*), and however hurtful it is, i just want to be a better person.
Did i mention slacking was a bad thing to do during an exam period?
Watched this on Star movies today and it was the bomb. Typical Robin Williams movie that can make anyone feel good. It shows that even an ordinary, everyday person (in this case a talk show host), can achieve great things like becoming the president of the US. Courage speaks for itself here. It takes a bucket full of guts to go on to a presidential debate, and violate all laws of the moderator, to get your message out there and be heard. I admire these kinds of people, and come to think of it, i admire them because i know I’m unable to do such things soberly.
A feel good movie, which tells us honesty is still the best policy. Even though I’ve learnt it the hard way… i still feel a need to reinforce it. No matter how bad it is, just tell the truth, and somehow or someway, it can be solved. So let me, at this moment, shutout to all of my friends out there (even if they can’t hear me), honor you guys by giving my honesty to you.
Oh and i must really mention this. For whatever reason, please do not share your important information about yourselves online, no matter how safe the Internet is claimed to be. Because just 2 days ago, Wen Chung’s gaming account was literally broken into, and had 2 million gold, and RM20 worth of stuff stolen… So yeah… Just be careful of where you place your trusts on the Internet
